How Are Building Owners Creating A Community While Tenants Are Stuck In Quarantine?

Some apartment buildings charge a premium for certain amenities. Sometimes, the property owner wants to bring the tenants together. You will find gyms, lounge space, and even working space to bring a sense of community.

With these spaces closed amid coronavirus pandemic, property owners are now trying to figure out a new way to bring tenants together.

Building owners use services such as LIVunLtd, an amenity/concierge provider to organize events such as comedy night, author readings, and fitness classes.

In an attempt to remain relevant to building owners, the company has begun creating sheltered-in-place events for tenants. According to Real Estate Weekly, “they’ve published a guide on things to do online, like virtual museum tours and brain games to keep the mind active.”

Residents need to communicate with the outside world, and sometimes, these events created by LIVunLtd are the perfect option.

“People aren’t gathering because of coronavirus, so we have to allow them to gather virtually. It’s not about an independent experience which are most digital experiences,” Says Michael Fazio, the creative director at LIVunLtd. “We’re trying to make it the talk of the building. It’s different than logging into yoga.com and taking a class. That’s what amenities are built for.”
